Conservative Councillors are continuing to fight on behalf of Resident to stop subsidies to Trade Unions coming out of your taxes.
At the last full Council Meeting, Conservatives again put forward the case that a minimum of £438,000 annually, paid by taxpayers in Bradford, to cover 15 full time equivalent union convenors is unjustifiable. Budgets are being reduced across council department and at a time when the Labour administration is closing libraries and swimming pools why should your money be spent on this.
The Conservative Group on Bradford Council will continue to work on behalf of all ratepayers opposing this unnecessary spending.
